Zippy Honey Dressing/Marinade
Makes 16 servings
|125 mL||red wine vinegar||½ cup|
|1 mL||black pepper||¼ tsp.|
|2 mL||salt||½ tsp.|
|30 mL||honey||2 tbsp.|
|2||garlic cloves, finely chopped||2|
|10 mL||Worcestershire sauce||2 tsp.|
|15 mL||Dijon mustard||1 tbsp.|
|250 mL||water||1 cup|
|juice of ½ lemon|
- Place all ingredients except water in container with tight-fitting lid. Shake well.
- Add water and shake again.
Flavour improves if made a day ahead. Dressing can be stored for several weeks.
Note: Honey is a safe and wholesome food for adults and children, but it should not be fed to infants less than a year old.
