Imports

Canada imports honey from other countries. These may be specialty honeys produced from flowering crops that are not grown in Canada.

In 2007, Canada imported honey worth $12 million from other countries. Australia, Argentina, the United States and the People's Republic of China are Canada's main honey suppliers. The country of origin should be indicated on the label of any imported honey.
