Honey is filtered before it goes into this bottling machine. Honey is poured through metal mesh and cloth filters into four bulk storage pails. Filtering

After the honey has been extracted from the frames, it goes through a series of filters. Some operations filter under pressure, while others rely simply on gravity. The process ensures that no dead bees or other impurities, such as wax, end up in the honey.
