Makes 4 servings
|4||skinless, boneless, chicken breasts||4|
|250 mL||vegetable oil||1 cup|
|30 mL||honey||2 tbsp.|
|30 mL||Dijon mustard||2 tbsp.|
|2||garlic cloves, finely chopped||2|
|10 mL||salt||2 tsp.|
|75 mL||red wine vinegar||⅓ cup|
|30 mL||soy sauce||2 tbsp.|
|15 mL||Worcestershire sauce||1 tbsp.|
|5 mL||black pepper||1 tsp.|
|75 mL||honey||⅓ cup|
- Blend all ingredients except 75 mL (⅓ cup) honey; pour over chicken breasts.
- Place in plastic bag and marinate in refrigerator overnight.
- Remove chicken from marinade; discard marinade.
- Grill chicken 6 to 10 minutes, turning once and basting occasionally with 75 mL (⅓ cup) honey during last 5 minutes of grilling.
Note: Honey is a safe and wholesome food for adults and children, but it should not be fed to infants less than a year old.
